The Marks We Leave Behind

This book explores the engravings I found on a church local to my parents. These engravings are a mixture of names and dates, some going back to the 1700s and posed an interesting question of how much we can tell about people from what gets left behind in the marks they leave.

The text for this book was fully embossed, and as such, the reader has to run their fingers along the pages and turn the pages in the light to be able to engage with the text. The pages shown both contain text and are best seen in person.
